Commissions — How It Works
Every commissionable sale gets filed — the sheet is the payroll source
Salespeople file their commissions through the portal form; the office verifies and pays on the pay period. The Commissions sheet is the single source of truth — locked, office-only.
📱 1. Salesperson Files
Salesperson
- Sales Portal → Commission form after the sale: who, what sold, invoice, amount.
- File it the day of the sale — end-of-period memory reconstruction is how commissions get missed.
🧮 2. Office Verifies & Pays
Nikki
- Entries land on the locked Commissions sheet; the office is alerted per entry.
- Nikki checks entries against POS invoices, resolves discrepancies with the salesperson, and processes payment on the pay period.
The Ground Rules
- The sheet is locked — salespeople file through the form only, never edit the ledger.
- Dispute? Bring the invoice number, not a recollection.
