How to use the Delivery Queue

Why we do thisEvery appliance that leaves on a truck needs a clean delivery ticket so the driver knows where to go, who to call, and what they're hauling. This queue turns a sale into that ticket in under a minute. Fill it out at the register while the customer is still in front of you, and the delivery runs itself.
  1. Tap your name, then punch in your PIN.
  2. Your queue lists every sale that still needs delivery info. Tap the one you're working on.
  3. Check the delivery address. If it's the same as the buyer's, it's already filled in. Change it only if they want it dropped somewhere else.
  4. Enter who to call first and their number. Skip it if that's just the buyer.
  5. Add each appliance and its item number, and note any haul-aways.
  6. Pick the delivery area or driver, and add gate code, lockbox, or flight numbers if the customer gives them.
  7. Hit submit, print the ticket that pops up, and staple it to the paperwork.
  8. Done. It drops into the driver's app on its own.
